How The Philipines bimoes have changed:

Picture

The Philipines biomoes have made great changes, mainly due to human's buliding cities, farms, town. Rainforests and also coral reefs in the Philpines have complications with growing, that put them in danger. It only took 10 years for a grand toal of 800km2 of rainforest area to become lost, and in addition rainforests have dropped from 70% in the 20th century to a shocking 8% in the current century. 70% of coral reefs are said to be in poor condition, and 5% is said to be in good condition. This shows that the biomes are only going to become more and more endanged as the years pass.

Expansion on deforestion and damage of coral reefs

The main reason for deforestion in the Philpines is due to human development, like home buliding, farms, mining, etc, to get the materials needed for the bulidings so people in the Philpines can go about living their daily lifes. The main reason for damage in the coral reefs is because of pollution from locals and illgeal fishing that occurs.

What people are doing to prevent further damage of rainforests and coral reefs

Organizations are pleadging to plant 1.8 billon trees in the Philppines, and the locals near the reefs are trying their best to mantain the area and stop people from coming in from illgealy fishing and stoping them from poullting the reefs with rubbish

Aleration focus

This website focuses on the human develoment aleration.
The human development in the Philippines highest rate ever was 0.72 points in 2020. This is most likely because of the covid-19 pandemic and so more rainforests would of been cut down for people's home needs. In 2001, the score was only 0.63, showing that as the years go up with people being born we need more and more supplys for the country.
